or removed Windows settings.
»

Why can't
connect to my
wireless network?
Wireless
networks are almost is every home these days. They
are great because it gives you the freedom to move
about your home or office without being attached to
any cables. However Wireless Routers have tendency
to freeze, or die quite often. We have seen Brand
New Wireless Routers die is as little as 3 months.
There's not much you can do to keep it from dying.
If it freezes you can reset it, but if it happens
too often, its best to replace.
»
Make
sure you're connecting to your network not someone
else. see the router documentation for more
information.
»
If the
network is secured, make sure you have the right
security key
»
Restart
the router by unplugging it for 2 minutes and
plugging it back in. This will fix the problem if
the router froze.
»
Reset
the router, by pressing the "RESET" button located
on the router. Keep in mind this will reset the
router to factory settings which means you will have
to redo the security settings again.
»
Check
your computer for viruses, some viruses will disable
services which will prevent connecting to your
router.
